  • Edo is the old name of Tokyo. Sushi began as a fast food, sold from carts and stalls. It traditionally means nigiri sushi or fish slices on rice.

  • Classes cover a variety techniques, from beginner to advanced and using the best quality seafood & produce. There are often whole fish cutting demos, different sushi forms and more! Eat or take home what you make, containers provided.

  • While we will provide all the necessary tools needed during the class, you may bring your own.

  • 16 years old

  • Yes! We offer fully vegetarian and/or vegan classes. These classes can be customized.

  • Do:

    • Practice safety when handling knives

    • Be courteous to other students and staff

    • Have fun!

    Don’t:

    • Disrupt the class with inappropriate behavior

    • Utilize sharp tools, such as knives, in a way that could harm yourself or others

  • We try to use the highest quality ingredients from reputable purveyors. Typical classes may use real snow crab, hamachi, tuna, shrimp & various shellfish. We also try to use organic produce.

  • While we can create custom classes where certain ingredients are omitted, we often use fish, shellfish, soy, eggs, sesame, nuts and others.

  • You can book a class via our Merch Page. The cards may be purchased as a gift card for someone else as well.

  • We don’t yet have a space of our own, but we will assuredly post updates when we find a home!
